On May 28–29, 2026, the Association of European Attorneys (AEA) Paris Annual Congress was held at the Wyndham Pleyel Resort in Paris. The conference attracted 420 lawyer representatives from 91 countries worldwide. Matthew G.S. Ren, Managing Partner of Liaoning Sun-land Law Firm, attended the conference as Vice President of the AEA. He actively participated in discussions on hot-button topics such as cross-border legal services, international arbitration, and data protection, and shared the practical experience of a Chinese law firm in the field of foreign-related legal services.

The Association of European Attorneys (AEA), founded in Berlin, Germany in 2004, is a non-profit international lawyers' organization representing around 9,000 lawyers. It has 1,521 offices across 159 countries, among which 122 are located in the United States, making the U.S. the country with the largest number of offices. There are also 32 specialized WhatsApp groups. AEA aims to promote cross-border business cooperation and professional exchange among lawyers worldwide.
